We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and highly productive front-end developer to dramatically enhance the user experience of our customer-facing portal. Powered by a java web-based system, this critical interface needs a brand new front-end design and implementation, and you can be the one helping us realize it.

Responsibilities:

* Develop front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Create a compelling user experience using code polished to near perfection, leaving no detail unfinished.
* Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems.
* Identify and communicate best practices to front-end developers in other engineering teams.
* Identify and address performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

* BS in Computer Science or related degree and 5+ years web development experience in a front-end design and development role.

* 3+ years in JavaScript, HTML(5), and CSS.

* 3+ years of AJAX and JS libraries (jQuery, YUI, etc).

Desired Qualifications

* Passion for developing world-class user interfaces.

* Ability to handle fast paced and fluid short release cycles.

* Expertise in Flash, Flex, and ActionScript 3.

* Expertise in Java framework - JSP, JSF, Struts.

* Design and implementation of high quality web/mobile production applications.

* Portfolio that includes sample web-based application projects.
