Remote Position
Very HOT Requirement (IMMD HIRE)
Must-haves
- Linux, HPUX and Windows Operating Systems (access, reviewing logs, and running commands).
- Able to use ssh, rdp, ksh access methodologies.
- Good troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret logs.
- Track test cases and report results to the Project Manager.
- Ability to work and coordinate with Engineers to troubleshoot issues.
- VMware knowledge (overall topology ESX host servers).
a. Start/stop virtual machines from command line or console.
b. Network configuration within ESX servers (VNics/VLANS).
- Willing to run batch type test-cases for OS provisioning.
- Ability to understand programming process logic.
- Quick to learn new environments.

Day-to-Day
- Will be responsible for running test cases within a web-based tool that provisions Cloud services related to CaaS (provisioning servers).
- Level of experience in VMWare is “Medium†. Operations experience would be helpful.
- Running test cases within a web-based tool that provision Cloud services. In more detail, leverage VMWare to provision virtual servers on to blade servers. The web-based tool will also provision physical server onto blades, plus setup network environments for customers. Primary responsibility will be to run test cases from the web based tool making sure the serves are working properly.
