Position: .NET Architect

Location: Chevy Chase, MD

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: Open

 

Job Description:

- An in-depth understanding of OO and SOA principals and design patterns with extensive architecture and design experience in a large scale web environment is required. Must have a proven track record of creating and driving successful solutions to complex technical issues.

- Familiarity with REST service design and iterative software development methodologies required.

- Experience in the designer or architect role using the Microsoft .NET platform, familiarity with Windows Communication Foundation, C#, Team Foundation Server, and/or Visual Studio 2010 is a plus.

- Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recommending architectural solutions as well as obtaining buy-in and instituting processes resulting in successful architectural implementations and audits.

- A BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is strongly preferred.
