·         5 yrs of DSP software development experience

·         CPU & DSP In depth Knowledge

·         Proficient in C

·         Excellent Linux programming skills

 

 

Our cutting edge client is looking for a DSP Software Engineer for a 3-6 month + contract opportunity in San Jose, CA.

Qualifications

•             BSCS degree (or equivalent)

•             5+ years of relevant experience in DSP-oriented software development

•             In-depth knowledge of the architecture and instruction set of processors (CPUs, DSPs, etc.)

•             Strong experience in DSP kernel algorithms (FIR/IIR filters, FFTs, DCTs, etc.)

•             Knowledge of digital signal/image/video processing application areas (e.g., image enhancement, image/video compression, computer vision)

•             Proficient in C and assembly language

•             Excellent programming skills under Linux

•             Deep understanding of algorithm complexity

•             Excellent code optimization skills

•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•             Solid debugging skills and problem solving capability
