Location: Syracuse, NY

Qualifications:
Administration and management of Oracle 9i and 11g and MS SQL 2005 and 2008 databases
Proactively monitor performance and health of the databases
Provide guidance to the client, application dev/support teams and to the vendors on database related issues
Performance tuning of the databases
Work with application development/support teams and other vendors for provisioning databases and troubleshoot DB related issues
Identify, document and present the root causes for incidents related to databases
Provide oncall support
Should have a strong understanding of ITIL processes and should have practised
SKILLS:
Oracle Certified DBA - 5 yrs
Microsoft Certified DBA - 5 yrs
