Position: DOT NET WEB APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER
Location: Eagan, MN (Strictly need only Locals)
Duration: 3 Months
Key Responsibilities:
Write code that is part of a customer training and education system. Gather business requirements and draft application requirements and specification documents to guide development. Write code in C# using ASP.NET framework 4, and the MVC3 design pattern. Assist in creating and modifying SSIS packages that require sophisticated queries in SQL. Troubleshoot bugs and issues, and resolve them as needed. Mentor other team members in ASP.NET MVC3.
Qualifications:
Ø Candidates should have some formal education in computer science, software engineering, or computer programming.
Ø A four-year degree in computer science is preferred, but not required.
Ø The work experience and/or other professional training or education will be considered in lieu of a four-year degree.
Ø Candidates must have a deep knowledge of object-oriented design principles, and must be proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, C#, JQuery, and MVC3. Understanding of web services or WCF services is necessary.
Ø Candidates must have experience with code versioning and repository systems, as well as clean-code principles.
Ø Candidates must have knowledge and experience with web programming and database development using ASP.NET (framework 4), MVC using C#, HTML, JQuery, Ajax, and XML.
Ø Familiarity with Web site usability, CSS, and web design principles is preferred. Familiarity with mobile and tablet (online and native app) is helpful.
Ø All candidates mu be able to work in a fast-paced results oriented environment. Agile experience is preferred.
Notes:
This worker will be on a small interactive team. We are looking for someone who is an expert in the technology who may be strong enough to help teach the current team some additional efficiency. In addition to the technical skills listed on the job description, candidates must have clear verbal and written communication. This will be a project that is anticipated to complete end of June.
