We have partnered with a large financial company in Wilmington, DE area to provide them with Configuration Manager. The ideal candidates will be responsible to create and maintain build scripts for JAVA (Maven) and .NET applications (MSBuild) and •    Performing maintenance and upgrade of tools.  The ideal candidates need to have a 5 to 7 year's experience for the consulting role in CM and Build functions with a minimum of 2 years in an agile development environment and 3 + years of experience of Subversion repository administration.

Description:

 

Job Summary:

 

• At least 5 to 7 year's experience for the consulting role in CM and Build functions with a minimum of 2 years in an agile development environment. Excellent communication skills are a MUST.

Build & Release:

 

• Create and maintain build scripts for JAVA(Maven) and .NET applications(MSBuild).
• Expertise in using Maven to manage a project's build, reporting and documentation. Ability to write custom maven plugins is a plus.
• Create and maintain deployment scripts of Java/J2EE Applications to any Application Server.
• Create and maintain deployment scripts of .Net applications to IIS Server.
• Expertise in developing scripts using windows batch scripting, LINUX Shell scripting, ant, perl, shell and beanshell.
• Expertise building and monitoring software projects continuously with a CI Tool like AnthillPro/Hudson/Cruise Control.
• Experience writing implementation plans for installing software components on build agents, and working with application services team to execute the install.
• Support QA regression deployments, monthly and weekly releases of applications.
• Extensive experience with Maven build process and repository managers like Artifactory and Nexus.

Configuration Management:

 

• 3 + years of experience of Subversion repository administration: create, load, dump and replay operations.
• Manage branching (create branches, execute merges) and labeling strategies in Subversion, Accurev and VSS.
• Provide direction to development teams on source code management for AGILE development teams.
• Participate in release coordination and communication to stakeholders.
• Create, manage and implement Configuration Management Plan.
• Train end users.
• Good to have: working knowledge of Clearcase, AccuRev, GIT, Mercurial.

Project / Process Automation Functions:

 

• Administration on AntHillPro, Maven and Subversion, Accurev, VSS.
• Performing maintenance and upgrade of tools.
• Identify and implement integrations with other development tools such as VersionOne, etc.

Continuous Improvement:

 

• Implement tactical improvements for Configuration Management and Build and Release tools and processes
• Develop expertise within the team.

Other Technical skills and abilities:

 

• High energy, can-do, results-oriented personality.
• Business acumen combined with a technical background.
• Understanding of banking system architectures.
• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of system integration.
• Knowledge of the development life cycle.
• Strong personality, with the ability to manage, influence and lead people.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage conflicting interests and identify compromises.
• Ability to deliver results under pressure.
• Excellent written and oral English skills.
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Microsoft Project.
