Role: Senior Cognos developer for "Forecast Excellence upgrade" project
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Morris Plains, NJ
Relevant Expereince: 7+ years
Technical/Functional Skills:
· Cognos 8.4 report writing with strong experience in framework manager dimension modeling and cube building
· Strong Cognos Transformer experience
· Experience with large volume cube build
· Strong Data Warehousing knowledge
· Experience with oracle and its Analytical functions
· Experience with tool like Toad, SQL Navigator and Visual Source safe
Expereince Required:
· Strong analytical, logical and technical skills
· Experience with modeling and design
· Creating technical documentation
· Oracle knowledge
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Senior Cognos Developer
· Communication with the Client and stake holders
· Communication with offshore team members
· Will be Independently handling the project
· Responsible for the entire life cycle of the project (e.g. requirement gathering, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance, documentation code libraries and reporting).
