Position: Drupal Developer
Duration-6 months
Location:Reston VA or NYC
Face to face will be required
Minimum Requirements:
Advanced Drupal Developer who must have at least 3 years of 6.x Drupal experience. Need to know how to build custom modules from scratch. PHP experience is required and a degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
Extensive experience with
Every technology up and down the LAMP stack (especially PHP and MySQL)
Strong experience developing Drupal modules (2+ years)
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML and other web standards
Experience working with Solr and other search engines
Background in traditional software development methodologies and environments
Experience working on other programming languages a plus (Java, python, .NET, etc.)
Comfortable working in a Linux based environment and experience troubleshooting Linux is a big plus
Custom module development
Third party integration
Theme implementation
Experience using Views, CCK, Panels, Context, Form API
Experience using Drush, Features, Aegir, Domain Access
Form API
Authentication
Comfortable using a revision control system such as SVN/GIT
Broad knowledge of Javascript/JQuery/Ajax
