Job Title: Sr.QA/Test Engineer

Location: Boston,MA

Duration: 6+Months

Job Description:

The candidate MUST have strong Healthcare experience, extensive "hands-on" testing with all aspects of claims processing/product configuration and also be able to work closely with the business units and sub-teams to ensure their processes are fully tested in an Agile/Scrum environment.  Candidate will be responsible for planning, development, execution and management reporting of end-to-end scenarios across businesses.  Candidate must have hands on experience with integration testing of web services in a complex SOA environment.  The candidate will be functioning within a dynamic Agile/Scrum environment that will require vigilance to deadlines, traceability and teamwork.

 

Candidate must possess strong technical debugging and troubleshooting skills coupled with strong analytical and communication skills. Candidate must have experience collaborating with business analysts to design scenarios and provide test data requirements that focus on business flows across integrated systems. Candidate must have experience working in a multi-vendor outsourced environment.

 

The candidate will primarily be responsible for designing end-to-end scenarios but automation testing tools experience for functional and non-functional testing would be a plus, Quality Center / QTP / SOAP UI Pro.

 

The senior quality assurance engineer will provide project level quality assurance leadership and guidance to maintaining specific software quality standards through every phase of the software life cycle and must be an independent self-starter able to take on responsibility for analyzing and understanding healthcare business flows in order to design appropriate end-to-end scenarios.

 

- Computer Science Degree or related discipline  

-Minimum of 5 years of software quality assurance experience, to include a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.

- Have SQA experience working for a successful software product company

- Have demonstrated software testing experience in the healthcare industry

- Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and management of software QA and process metrics to measure and improve the quality of the software processes, software deliverables and the final software product.

- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, presentation, and project management skills a must.

-Strong leadership skills that motivate team confidence to achieve and maintain quality in a creative and effective manner.

- Have a passion for achieving excellence in process and product quality and reliability

-Strong understanding of different software development life cycles such as waterfall, iterative (Agile/Scrum), etc. and the use of modern software quality assurance processes and automated tools

- Have experience in working with distributed team members

-Be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication

- Ensure delivery against all QA strategic goals and objectives.
