Requirements/Description:

Leads process engineering and modeling efforts for Enterprise Release Management consisting of large projects that include working with one or more partners involved in the evaluation of release management process requirements and/or the development of new procedures/processes/policy solutions to address complex needs.

Also assesses impact of process changes and their implications from a cost, efficiency, and quality standpoint. Determines process requirements, plans projects, establishes priorities and monitors progress. Compiles and analyzes results for identification of improvement opportunities. Provides measurement and cost savings support (development, reporting, validation and improvement) for release management. Position is an individual contributor working on significant processes utilizing independent judgment and discretion within an IT organization.

- Lead and facilitate process engineering sessions for major enterprise level Release Management initiative
- Identify measures to address productivity and performance improvements
- Identify policy/procedure impacts and documentation/validation of requirements includes the direction of multiple areas and subject matter experts.
- Perform organization and resource modeling, analyze processes in a variety of dimensions, build accurate and realistic simulations and appropriate process models as needed
- Collaborate with requirements team to ensure that process changes are accurately translated into desired system requirements.
- Work with process development team to accurately translate the final process model into an implemented and deployed capability.
- Work with monitoring team to accurately translate the process model into the required monitoring model.
- Maintain and improve process engineering framework, toolsets, and infrastructure; includes the maintenance of functional models used in critical operations opportunities and capability needs.
- Develop and manage project plans in support of process engineering through-out project lifecycle; includes prioritization, risk mitigation and monitoring progress.
- Develop and compile management level scorecards to show engineering results and effectiveness; includes cost-savings and quality impacts for process changes.

Knowledgeable in process modeling concepts and ability to perform simulation and optimization techniques on the models; experience in process mapping tools a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the demonstrated ability to drive results required.
- Strong communication skill and ability to work closely with both the process and development teams to ensure that the process model is translated accurately into an implemented and deployed capability.
- Self-sufficient in the role and able to perform the job-related tasks independently, with limited assistance from peers, product documentation and support services.
- Detail oriented, with proven time management and organization skills (including the ability to engage in multiple tasks and meet deadlines/standards).
- Act with a sense of urgency to research questions or issues brought by the team; identify the right parties or resources to resolve these issues; and follow up with these parties to drive resolution and provide on-going feedback to individual(s) who raised the question or issue.

- 1-2 years experience with continuous quality improvement methods and tools preferred (e.g., statistical process control, Six Sigma, etc.).
