Experience level: Minimum 7+ years

 

Skill set that they are looking for :

• More than 5 years hands-on on RMAN and RAC (10g & 11g) and database backup, restore and duplicate.
• Oracle 11 G – Install, Backup and Architecture plan for build out
• Good knowledge on RAC and high availability
• Atleast some of the key features in 11G like Security, Active data guard, Compression
• More than 5 years hands-on with shell scripts
• Expert  in Oracle RDBMS (and not Oracle app) basics, performance and tuning
• Expert in handling ASM, cluster file system, export & import, data pump, transportable table space etc.
• Many years hands-on in oracle upgrades and patches:  for both major releases and patches: from 9i, to 10g and 11g
• Hands-on experience on migrating database to IBM AIX from other platform.
• OCP on 11gr2 preferable.
• Good oral and written communications to deal with Oracle technical support team and project team.
• Have experience in working with onshore and offshore model.
