Job Title:   Livelink (LAPI/.Net) Developer
Location:   Columbus, OH
Duration:   6+ Months

 

 • Livelink Developer competent/experienced in the process of Parallel Upgrade of Livelink 9.7.1 to Content Server 10. Must be able to implement and document best practices for Content Server 10 administration and configuration where not already existing. Prefer OpenText Certified Administrator.
• Knowledge of .Net
• Review current custom code and ensure code is compatible and functioning for use with CS 10 and validate
• Make changes as necessary to configuration to ensure compatibility and validate
• Make changes to underlying code as needed to ensure compatibility and validate
• Make suggestions as to changes to enhance performance or eliminate existing bugs or error conditions
Current status of the project is:
Project is underway. Build of new environment is nearing completion.
Custom LAPI code still needs to be assessed and tested in new environment.

What other resources will be involved in this project and what does the current Livelink support consist of?
Other Livelink resources on the project consist of 2 internal resources with Livelink Admin and LAPI code experience.

By doing this upgrade LTS is trying to achieve the following:
- Objective is to prevent the lapse of Opentext support that will expire for version 9 in January of 2013.
- No new functionality is being requested.
- Need to assess and understand any impact of CS10 upgrade to existing functionality. What might change that impacts existing functionality or require training or creation of a job aid document.

Contractor needs C# experience.
