Java Developer W/ JBoss/MVC

Location: TN

Duration : 6+ Months

 

JSF is ALMOST a requirement. However, if they have a LOT of experience in at least two other web frameworks (Struts, Spring MVC, etc) then that would suffice. But having hands-on JSF would be a DEFINITE plus. It is going to be both enhancements and some new development.

 

 

• 5-7 years of Java development required, including
1. An MVC webapp platform such as Struts, JSF or Spring MVC
2. Experience with EJB 3.0 components running on a full JEE container such as JBOSS, WebSphere or Glassfish
3. Experience with Tomcat 6.x running Java webapps
4. Experience with hibernate persistence technology, especially as pertains to EJB 3.0 CMP (annotations vs. XML configuration)
• High-level of SQL Scripting proficiency
• Experience working with complex data models, and designing Enterprise applications that perform under heavy load with millions of rows of data
• Java nice-to-haves include:
1. JBOSS 4.2.3 to JBOSS 5/6/7 migration experience
2. Deep JSF knowledge including Ajax, A4J, RichFaces, etc
3. Quartz Enterprise Job Scheduling
4. Jasper Reports
5. Java "Rich Client" development (Eclipse RCP or similar)
