Job Description:

1.        Deal with Hardware vendors like IBM/HP. Following up with Vendors hardware & software whenever required.

2.        Designing, installing, implementing and troubleshooting VMware ESX/ESXi server.

3.        Monitoring and Performance analysis on ESX Servers and VMs

4.        Knowledge on ESX servers from command line

5.        Setting up of V-motion, HR, DRS and related VMware products.

6.        Patching of ESX severs and VMs with VMware Update manager, allocation of storage spaces to VMs through SAN.

7.        Ability to work with VSPHERE / VMware Consolidated Backup / Virtual machine backups

8.        Resource Sizing, resource management and Volume Extension.

9.        Knowledge on VMware update Manager, how to install.

10.     Configuration and admin of windows cluster.

11.     Physical machine to virtual machine conversions.

12.     Proficient in  Microsoft OS

13.     In-Depth knowledge of Active Directory and DNS structure

14.     Knowledge of Windows 2000 and 2003 Server and trouble shooting skills;

15.     Knowledge on RAID management and Array controller.

16.     Knowledge & troubleshooting skills on MS Clusters, Windows Load Balancing.
