1 year contract

Must-haves
C# development, at least 2 years
C background (work experience, even if it was not recent), at least 2 years
Windows application development
Web services application development
Great communication skills
Experience in an agile development environment preferred, scrum and/or Kanban can work too
Focus on user experience, front end rather than back end development

Role
We are seeking mulitple highly qualified engineers/developers to join a large team to enhance a software product called Practice Partner for a large healthcare initiative at an enterprise

level pharmaceutical company. In order to receive government subsidies, companies are required to adhere to meaningful use requirements that will affect changes including adding security to software related to the exchange of electronic health records, medical information and communication between doctors, pharmacies and other entities. In addition, there will be future iterations of meaningful use inlcuding adding functionality for higher clinical quality through reporting, creating better catalogs and allowing better tracking of trends such as with patients who have diabetes and other chronic diseases. The applications are written in a mix of code: a third C#, a third C and a third VB 6 however the most important skill is C#

development and past experience developing C code. Candidates that have the ability to wear more than one hat and have a smaller shop mentality are preferred. The team sits around the country so candidates must be comfortable interfacing with others in different time zones, over video conferencing, online and over the phone. The applications are windows applications and they are focusing on front-end development primarily but client/server application development is a plus.
