Job Description:
Sr. level Storage Engineer/Architect required for a long term contract to provide expert level storage health check analysis, subsystem monitoring and day-to-day storage management.
This is an immediate and long term opportunity in Greensboro, NC location. Candidates interested in to-Hire will have opportunity to convert.
Required skills:
Candidates MUST have these "Expert Level" skills.
TPC - Tivoli Productivity Center
Expert in virtualization architecture and configuration for Unix and storage.
Storage technologies IBM XIV and DS-8800 series
Expert in high availability and/or fault tolerant solutions
Expert at snapshot, cloning, deduplication and replication software and strategies to optimize performance and reduce cost
Server virtualization
Experience deploying virtual environments using Unix virtualization technologies
Systems Architecture experience
IT systems and application architecture experience (preferred)
Superior level of practical and theoretical technical knowledge
Apply changes in accordance with customer Change management policies and procedures.
