Job Title: SQL Server Prod Support Engineer
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

The ideal candidate for this position will have an in-depth knowledge
of Microsoft T-SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and will
use this experience to support large Extract Transform and Load (ETL)
processes in a production and pre-production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Primary role is as a SQL Server SSIS, T-SQL, ETL production support
engineer
• Will work with both minimal supervision and in a collaborative team
environment supporting large scale SAAS application
• Will work in a fast paced mission critical production support
environment that will require you to think on your feet and dive deep
to solve problems
• Ability to troubleshoot process failures and determine how to fix
the code or data issue in order to meet customer service level
agreements (SLA's)
• Possess knowledge of SQL and or SSIS performance and tuning
optimization tools and techniques

Requirements:

• Successful candidate must have a strong database development track
record and advanced knowledge of SQL programming using Microsoft SQL-
Server T-SQL, SSIS in the 2005 or 2008 environment.
• Business Information (BI) and reporting experience
• ETL experience
• Financial information systems experience supporting mortgage
industry or related field a plus
• We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the desire and
ability to work effectively with peers in the pre-production and
production support areas
