Job Title: Sr. SQL Developer

Description:
· looking to hire an experienced Data Warehouse developer for building a new data warehouse which will provide a consolidated platform for flexible reporting and guided analytics solutions on various data points related to client resource optimization.
· The candidate would be directly responsible for requirements gathering, data modeling, design and implementation of new data warehouse following star-schema model.
· The candidate should be proficient in SQL Server database development and SSIS for ETL.
· He/She should be able to work on multiple projects with minimum supervision and manage business expectations in a high demanding global environment and work well within a distributed team environment without constant supervision and provide pragmatic solutions in reliable and timely manner.
· An ideal candidate for this position need to be very proactive, self-motivated and a proven team-player.
· He/She should also have a collaborative team-work approach, good work ethics and strong communication skills to ensure that business requirements are correctly translated into design and make the business partners comfortable to work with directly.
· The current development team is split between London and New York with a 24x6 second line support team based in Singapore.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Work within a team of BI/reporting developers responsible for database design and development.
· Interact with business analysts and users to understand BRD and develop high level technical specifications
· Implement ETL framework in SSIS 2005/2008 across heterogeneous data sources.
· Coordinate with multiple upstream systems for data sourcing.
· Perform As-is Analysis of existing disparate legacy datamarts.
· Author data output framework for dashboards referencing SRDW.
· Adhere to firm's policies and release procedure and follow best practices while building solution packaging etc.
· Deliver projects in fast-paced environment and work with different technology and business groups to produce quality and timely solutions.
Must Have Skills:
· 5+ Years of experience in SQL Server 2005/2008.
· Rich Experience of SSIS 2005/2008.
· Rich Experience of multidimensional data model and reporting datamarts.
· Database programming, stored procedures and Data modeling experience.
· 2+ years of financial experience.
· Strong analytical, problem solving skills and ability to multitask to keep pace in a dynamic environment.
· Experience on scheduling tools, such as Autosys.
· Collaborative team-work approach, good work ethics.
· Ability to communicate and liaise at all levels both written and verbally.
Nice to Have Skills:
· 1+ year of CRM experience.
· Sybase and/or UDB experience.
· Familiarity with reporting tools like Business Objects XI 3.1/4.0.
· OLAP (SSAS) experience.
· Experience on Informatica.
· Any prior data integration experience.
