Job Description :
This position will expand the in-house expertise in building components to support various data integration initiatives.
The ideal candidate will assist project leads and other developers in the design, development, and unit testing using Informatica and Other tools to expand the UHC data warehousing platform.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and IT experience.
•Professional IT experience specializing in data warehouse environment
•Good understanding of ETL Architecture best practices
•4 + years in Informatica (9.x,8.x,7.x) development and MS SQL Server 2005 . 2008(Transact SQL, Stored Procedures) based Transact SQL development
•Extensive experience with all Power Center transformation types and reusable components
•Ability to design, code and unit test complex Power Center applications
•Ability to troubleshoot problems with Informatica objects
•Experience with scheduling tools is a plus
•Development experience with .NET, VB Scripting, and/or Cognos is a plus
•Must be able to work in a team environment to maintain and troubleshoot ETL and database systems.
•Ability to deliver results with minimum supervision.
•Excellent communication skills
