Job Type: Contract

 

Our Media industry client, located near Glendale, CA is looking for a contract Sharepoint Consultant for approximately 6-10 weeks, possible extension.

 

Responsibilities of the Sharepoint consultant will be to Install & Configure Sharepoint 2007 AND 2010 from the ground up for their new Disaster Recovery Sharepoint Farm (currently 3 servers associated). 

 

Required Skills:

• Experience with SharePoint Technologies (Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Office SharePoint Server 2007 & 2010, Forms Services, Excel Services, Enterprise Search, Business Data Catalog and Web Services) in a variety of business environments.
• Five or more years SharePoint Farm Administration including planning and design of security, backups, indexing, and overall configuration. Ability to configure SharePoint Farms from the ground up. General administration of SharePoint 2007 and 2010 sites.
• Custom SharePoint development, such as developing custom web parts, event handlers, and packaging/deploying WSPs.
• Support and troubleshooting knowledge of IIS and.NET applications.
• Solid proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008 platforms.
• Experience configuring and administering Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008 R2.
• Experienced in planning, design, development, and deployment of SharePoint.
• Custom supporting solutions in ASP.NET (w/ C#) , WCF and Soap Web Services (ASMX)
• Configure out-of-the-box and custom web parts to interact with SharePoint lists, libraries, BDC and other data sources.
• Microsoft SQL Server Database 2005 and 2008, Analysis, Integration and Reporting Services ASP .NET and client web development (XML, XSL, ASP .NET).
• Experience in Programming with .NET Framework using C# and full life cycle of software development activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills.
