Job Description:

Serves as direct liaison to functional process and application owners to translate and prioritize requirements and activities to migrate data from multiple legacy applications to a CRM application.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for understanding legacy data entities and functions

• Legacy data migration approach, processes and conversion architecture with a specific emphasis on Informatica ETL and Siebel EIM

• Understand AM services business process and translate how legacy data will need to transform into new processes

• Drives consistency across multiple tracks in gathering data requirements and data validation approach

• Responsible for translating high-level data transformation requirements into detailed data migration specifications

• Assists the business in determining which business and data requirements can and should be validated through automated solutions for data accuracy

• Single point of contact for business on data migration architecture and approach

• Researches development in assigned technology and methodology, helps determine business and technical requirements, proposes changes, develops migration and implementation plans, and may execute projects based on these activities

• Drive consistency in design and documentation deliverables

• Maintains functional peer relationships and detailed working knowledge of the assigned area?s systems, organization, and business processes

• Understand business processes and cycles and how they fit into an effective deployment cut over plan

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical understanding of Siebel architecture components such as (Business Objects, Business Components, Views, Business Services, Integration Objects and Siebel EIM components)

• Strong understanding of conversion architecture and ETL process and data verification approaches

• Strong functional understanding of vanilla Siebel 8.1 field service platform modules such as Account, Contact, Service Request, and Call Center management, including master data components such as Territory, Product, Asset, and Pricing

• Working understanding and knowledge of Siebel tools and Siebel technical architecture

• Experience in the role of a Siebel Data Architect understanding functional requirements and translating them into defined business processes.

• Strong understanding of deployment activities and cutover plans
