Job Roles / Responsibilities :

DB2 Senior Developer

· Provide strong technical leadership and expertise in database design, implementation and maintenance phases.

· Design and develop new database systems, working closely with a team of with DB2 DBA.

· Create and manage DB2 packages, triggers, and stored procedures, views, SQL transactions

· should know Ingest utility to load DB2 tables from files or pipes.

· should understand supports serial, DPF, and pure Scale environments, including HADR using Ingest.

· should be able Monitor the progress of the ingest operations using new ingest monitoring commands or existing monitor routines.

· This individual should have strong understanding of relational databases, UNIX, Data Warehousing concepts.

. Excellent skills in DB procedure programming, indexing, partitioning, performance tuning of queries, etc.
