This would be a remote position (would be joining an existing team which all work remotely). Full Time Contracting Position for NetApps Engineer for a 6month to 12 month term.
Here's the skill requirement:
Must have:
· NetApp device configuration Data ONTAP, CIFS, NFS, Disk technologies,
· RAID Levels TCP/IP, UDP/IP and Network Configuration of NAS iSCSI, FCIP and SAN Connectivity of NetApp
· Other NAS disks and tape devices NDMP Configuration on NAS
· High availability and Clustering Knowledge on FAS Series / N series Support Capabilities Volume, Qtree
· Quota creation and management
· Volume creation and Management
· Troubleshoot storage performance issues
· Configure, perform, monitor, troubleshoot and repair NAS backups and restores
· Ensure optimum NAS performance and availability NAS Storage capacity utilization
· trending and reporting NDMP Backup configurations from NAS
· Manage Snapshot ,snapvault ,snapmirror
Preferred- Knowledge of Wintel Operating Systems/ Linux/Unix, NetApp SMO (Snap Manager for Oracle)
Platform is a NetApp FAS 3040 filers with Ontap version 7.3.1p2. So experience on this platform with the above skills would help.
