Title: BI ARCHITECT

Location: SAN MATEO, California

Contract Duration: 3 TO 6 MONTHS

Environment: Business Casual

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior demonstrable experience of performance at BI architect level in a hospital setting.

• Must have advanced client and/or 3rd party decision support product knowledge and understanding of feeder HIS systems.

• Experience with cube building.

• Experience with relational databases and SQL, SSIS, DTS packages.

• Knowledge of Crystal reporting.

• Experience with establishing interfaces and data feeds from external structured and non-structured data sources.

• Knowledge of client DSS, Embedded Analytics, and Quality Measures products is a plus.

• Experience with Healthcare and familiarity with Project Management processes.

• Strong written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivational skills and positive attitude.

• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

• Highly self motivated and directed.

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to travel 50% to customer location.

Description:

• Work closely with customer to assess enterprise-wide business intelligence needs in a healthcare environment; coordinate with user liaisons to assess individual departmental needs and objectives as part of this assessment.

• Prepare capability gap analysis and an enterprise-wide strategy to address gaps.

• Create a road-map for implementing strategy while working with client's subject matter experts to ensure compliance with current and future client applications in business intelligence and decision support domains.

• Work with client's SMEs to establish a strategy implementation stream of work using client's compliant processes and methodology
