Oracle Functional Sales Contract w/R12 exp - Atlanta, GA

Position: Sr. Functional Oracle Sales Contracts Consultant w/R12 experience

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 6+ Months

Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Consultant whose focus is on Oracle Sales Contracts (R12) with our Client in Atlanta, GA. The selected candidate must have hands on Oracle Sales Contracts (which entails Oracle Quoting, Oracle Telesales, Oracle Sales and Order Management). The consultant will be responsible for implementing this module / suite of Oracle sales applications at the client site. We are looking for a functional consultant who can work with the internal customers to extract the business requirements and configure Oracle Sales Contracts based on those needs. The selected resource will also be responsible for the sales contract template development leading to the successful implementation of this process automation tool.  Our client is well into the implementation process, and this position is open due to a need to augment their current Oracle staff. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide techno-functional and business solutions that meet user needs with strong understanding on the Oracle EBS modules under Oracle Sales Contracts

Ability to understand business requirements and translate high-level business requirements to functional specifications for IT and manage changes to those specifications.

Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.

Possess expert knowledge of the business unit(s) they are supporting, understand IT systems and capabilities, help educate the business on best practices.

Create business requirements and other documents in support of projects.

Conduct business process analysis, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analysis in order to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.

Lead process configuration design activities.

Responsible for functional designs and provide configuration solutions for business requirements.

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

8 - 10 years of Oracle EBS implementation experience

Recent Oracle Sales Contract installation/implementation experience in R12

Functional experience with template development of sales contracts

Previous experience as the Lead in an Oracle Sales Contract implementation

Ability to work with executive leadership and sales leadership to extract business requirements

Experience with the following Oracle Sales modules

Oracle Quoting

Oracle Telesales

Oracle Sales

Order Management

 

SPECIAL NOTE

Candidates that are not local must be onsite, at our client's office in Atlanta, Monday through Thursday. This would be a minimum, and could require additional time onsite, depending on the milestones being reached in their current implementation.
