Position:Sr Programmer
Duration:6 months
Location: FL
Minimum Skills:
· Design, build, modify, test and implement software code that conforms to a given business need and is based on given functional requirements and specifications
· Work as part of a project team
· Communicate progress, technical issues and their resolution about the work being done
· Produce software documents including:
· Design documentation
· Technical documentation, describing code design, algorithms, interfaces with other programs and systems, input data and output data and its formats, etc.
· Maintenance documentation
· Data Flow Diagrams
· User Documentation
Skills:
· In depth understanding of the software development life cycle
· Experience using ESRI ArcGIS software to perform spatial analysis tasks, work with the module builder create and analyze programs using the AML programming language
· Fluent in multiple programming languages such as python 2.6 and up, c# .net, VB.net, etc.
· Knowledge in the use and programming of FTP
· Expert use of application development tools such as Visual Studio.net, Pythonwin, and other IDE Software
· Working knowledge of databases such as MS SQL Server, ORACLE and MS Access and in the use of SQL Language
· Proficient in the use of MS Office programs including MS Visio, MS Project, EXCEL
