Duration                              :               3 months plus

Location                               :               Salt lake city, UT

Rate                                       :               $60/hr AI on C2C

Description:

Financial Systems underlies the core functionality of our client, moving billions of dollars in and out of the client's system annually for more than 60 million users. As a Software QA Engineer on the Financial Systems team, the individual will participate in planning of test strategy such as functional, regression, and load & performance. Main responsibilities include testing of transactional batch tools and back-end servers used in connecting our platform to other financial institutions, develop and execute test cases based on specification, refining existing scripts for modularity and automation prep purposes, and perform 3rd party integration testing before product launch. Additional duties include creation of automated test suites using python and provide estimates on assigned features.

Required Skills:

·         Experience in software industry with an excellent understanding of QA methodology.

·         Ability to lead complex projects from test planning through production launch.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

·         Must be team-oriented and yet be capable of working largely on your own with minimum supervision

·         Ability to create automation suites in Python, Shell, and/or C++ is essential. Strong UNIX is required.

·         Experience with data validation and Grey Box testing for testing.

·         Strong SQL Knowledge is required

·         Work with flexible work schedules and willingness to adopt to meet challenging priorities. Previous employment in a fast pace environment is preferable. | Previous experience in 3rd party integration testing is preferred.

·         Experience in some aspect of financial services is highly desirable.

·         For this role I need someone with deep experience using Quality Test Pro (QTP), preferably in a .NET 4.0 environment using C#.

·         The candidate must also have experience taking product requirements and developing the test plan, test cases, developing the test scripts in QTP, executing the test plan, analyzing results, and reporting back to leadership.
