AS/400 Developer(2 positions)

Location: Alabama

 contract and full time positions

 

 

 

This position will focus on the development and maintenance of fully integrated software applications using RPGIV, ILE and DB2 on AS/400 platform. The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

 

• BS degree in computer science or related technology training and 5-7 years experience working in an AS/400 environment.
• The candidate should have strong coding skills in RPGIV, ILE, DB2 and CLP.
• Working knowledge of Java, HTML and other web technologies is a definite plus.
• At least 3 years experience using SQL on AS400
• Knowledge of using SQL in the RPG programs, free format RPG, and Rational development tools.        
• Familiarity with the IFS, Websphere MQ on AS400 and other Websphere technologies is an advantage.

·         Experience working in a Warehouse management system is a plus.
