Position: Oracle eBusiness DBA
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 12+ months
Interview Process: Phone followed by Skype

Visa: GC, USC

THEY MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, 9/10 or 10/10

This position requires on-call time and off-hours support

 

Minimum Skills Required:

·         Oracle eBusiness Suite version 12.0.6 or 12.1.2+

·         Oracle eBusiness software and database installation and patching

·         Oracle eBusiness patch management

·         Concurrent manager, forms and report server

·         User administration within application and database

·         Application and database cloning

·         Root cause analysis and resolve reported problems

·         Proactive monitoring and alerting

·         Backup & recovery utilizing RMAN

·         RAC experience

·         Shell scripts

·         Query and performance tuning of database and application

·         Ability to create and maintain documentation and work instructions

·         Production support of the eBusiness application, third party software and database

·         Familiarity with database architecture, both logical and physical design

·         UNIX knowledge

 

Not Required, but a Plus:
 

·         Local to the Pittsburgh area

·         Strong application and traditional DBA experience and skills
