Role:Oracle – IOS Developer

Location: Redwood Shores, CA

Duration: 12 months

Interview Process: Phone interview to hire.

As one of the early members on the mobile team, you will help to define the product, establish the foundation for future development, own key areas of the product, and help build the rest of the team. If you love to design, believe in writing beautiful code, and want to work on products that will have a meaningful impact on people's lives, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

** In-depth understanding of iOS, with a minimum of 2 years of development experience, having published applications on the App Store

** Incredible coding skills in C, C++ , and Objective-C

** Expert in object oriented programming, multi-threaded programming, and network programming

** Skilled at writing scripts in Perl, PHP, Python, or others cripting language

** In-depth understanding of build tools like Make and Ant, with experience in setting up complex build systems from scratch

** Passionate about building great user experiences with extensive experience in UI development, creating custom UI components and working with Cocoa Touch

** Expert in using development tools for debugging, profiling, and optimizing code

** Experienced in automation of builds, tests, and releases

** A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, client-server systems, and software design

** In-depth understanding of cross-platform application development and porting

** Self-motivated, independent, and proactive with a demonstrated ability for creative thinking

** Excellent command of written and spoken English

** BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field with 7 years of experience building production software and a minimum of 2 years' experience in mobile Preferred

** Experience in more than one mobile OS, including Windows Mobile, Symbian, Palm OS, or webOS

** Prior experience in working with mobile application frameworks, including PhoneGap, Titanium, Rhodes, or other, with an appreciation for the tradeoffs between mobile web and native development

** Involved in the open-source community and an active contributor to open-source projects

** Experienced in protocol design for Mobile networks, including a good understanding of carrier networks, related challenges and constraints

** In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP, UDP, HTTP, XML-based protocols

** Experienced in Web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, etc…)

** Experienced in database design and implementation

** Experienced in designing APIs and developing cross platform SDKs

** Experienced in embedded development
