Role: Java Developer

Location : Redmond, WA

Duration: 1 Year

Rate : $45/hr

 

Responsibilities

Technical/Functional skills

- Development experience 4-6+ years in Java development and relational databases;

- Java, spring, hibernate, webservices, xml, jquery, jsp, Servlets, Oracle, db2, unix/linux;

- Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills

- Service oriented architecture system experience

- Web service development experience (SOAP and REST)

- Experience and knowledge of best practices in continuous integration and continuous delivery

- Experience or working knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodology

- Excellent problem analysis and solving skills

- Good communication, organization and inter-personal skills

- Ability to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and high-pressure situations, while staying a team player

- Ability to work with some ambiguity and drive toward completion of technical requirements

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with persistence layer and Object-Relational mapping technologies such as JPA and Hibernate

- Experience with Enterprise Service Bus products and related technologies such as Message brokers

- Strong unit testing, integration testing and system testing abilities including automated testing techniques
