Position - Sr Business Analyst

Location - Austin, TX

Length - 6-12 Months+

 

WORK DESCRIPTION:

- Perform gap analysis to identify unmet IT business requirements,

  such as deficiencies in policies, processes, procedures, and workflows.

- Write, edit, and test information technology documents for defined audiences

  and purposes using IT templates.

- Interview subject matter experts in order to advance understanding of the

  interaction between the user and various processes, procedures, workflows

  and technical systems.

- Version and publish documents in designated repositories.

- Communicate and track document availability/usage.

- Apply technical style guide and best practice standards for

  technical writing and desktop publishing.

- Develop plans for the maximization of IT process and

  procedure efficiency and effectiveness.

- Coordinate with assigned workgroups points-of- contact in development,

  revision, and approval cycle.

- Work successfully across IT Workgroups on critical IT services Management program improvements.

Minimum Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

- Must have 8+Yrs of IT experience

- 4-7 years experience – Ability to analyze systems and procedures, to write

  and revise Information Technology process, procedures, workflows, and policies,

  to communicate effectively, and to train others.

- 4-7 years experience – Ability to find creative options when face with difficult challenges.

- 4-7 years experience – Ability to work independently and reliably with minimal supervision.

- 4-7 years experience – Experience utilizing technical style guides and writing standards

- 4-7 years experience – Excellent presentation skills

- 2+ years experience – Knowledge of ITIL quality framework for IT
