Teradata Modeler
Key duties:
1. Experience Building models
2. Take over the process to provide daily data to the third party consulting firm who is building the statistical model.
3. Automate the process of the data extract and delivery to the FTP site where the third party consulting firm will be pick up the files.
4. Gather requirements and develop the requirements for the database that will take the data coming back from the third party consulting firm and develop the actual database tables and infrastructure in the Teradata Aster environment.
Technical Skill Requirements
1. Experience with a Teradata production or analytical environment at a minimum as a database developer or DBA with at least 2 years of experience.
2. Experience with Aster Data (owned by Teradata) is a big plus. Not required.
3. Experience with SQL development and automation of SQL jobs (not stored procedures) is required.
4. Understanding of statistical models is a big plus so they know how to design the database for the data being returned.
5. Experience designing, implementing and coding new databases is required.
