Required Skills:

 

·         Must have 6+ years of Java development experience with 2+ years of Sybase RDBMS experience

·         Must have experience with JavaScript, HTML, JSP

·         Basic understanding of Linux/Unix

·         Understanding of Perl

·         Application troubleshooting

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Development activities for enhancements / new requirements

·         Designing/architecting new applications

• Communication with users to gather requirements and analyze/address issues
• List down alternatives, pros/cons for various solutions to issues/enhancements
• Investigating and fixing bugs / Participating in test execution cycles
• Interact with other technology groups as needed
• Coordinate with users and developers located in different geographic regions
• Managing, Tracking and Monitoring offshore tasks
• Guide/lead offshore team on solutions

·         Supporting the live application in the production environment
