Req : Java SOA web service designer/developer

Location: Peoria, IL

Duration: 9 Months




SOA web service designer/developer Required: -- 2+ years experience with SOA solutions: Any of the following, but not limited to: IBM WESB WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (preferred), Software AG WebMethods ESB, or other equivalent -- 2+ years experience with designing SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) solutions. -- 2+ years experience developing web services-based applications with SOA (Web Services, WSDL and SOAP) in J2EE implementations is required -- Proficiency with at least one programming language such as C++, C# or Java, etc -- Extensive experience with designing, developing, testing, and maintaining a variety of middleware. -- Strong teamwork and initiative; highly accountable and dependable; ability to multitask and work independently. Desired: -- Experience with any Middleware tools such as, but not limited to: IBM BPM/WPS/ESB. -- WebSphere Application Server development experience. -- In-depth knowledge with service-enabling IBM's CICS and IMS applications. Description: Individual will be a member of the Enterprise Integration Competency Center's Application Integration (A2A) support and development team.

The qualified candidate will design, develop, and deliver business services through the use of IBM's SOA tools, specifically WPS (Websphere Process Server) and BPM (Business Process Manager).

Skills: Datastage, SAP Bobj, Java, ETQ, SalesForce experience, PeopleSoft, Laboratory Info. Mgt. (LIMS) experience, eCommerce coding experience, SOA experience, Mobile application development, Websphere application experience, Adobe CQ application experience.

The main function of a Analyst / Developer Specialized is to develop, create, and modify computer applications software or specialized utility programs utilizing software packages or proprietary software languages including integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased software solutions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Design, code, test, and debug programs of varying levels of complexity.

 

Provides guidance and assistance to other team members.

 

Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design and potential impact while cognizant of time and cost constraints.

 

Work with vendors on integration of purchased application solutions.

 

Complex application problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.

 

Assist customers with documentation, training, and usability efforts.

 

Assist more experienced system development/support personnel in developing solutions to customer related requests and/or system problems.
