Looking for  Java Developer in Washington DC/MD area  (Candidates from DC, MD, DE or VA would be preferred, as there will be a F2F after the initial phone call) – 1+ year - Please share resumes to lucky@itstrategiesinc.com

Job description:

·         Lead/Participate in technical discussions with the client on the software architecture, design development and subsequent EPLC phases

·         Engage hands-on the software development efforts including delivering software code in the programming language relevant to the project, mainly java, JSF, ADF

·         Participate in peer review of software code and other software quality assurance processes

·         Actively handle rapid prototyping

·         Prepare technical documentation

·         Participate actively in all project activities as assigned by the PM

·         Complete assigned work with in time schedule and contribute to the success of the team efforts on the project

·         Support companywide CMMI efforts as many as assigned.

 

Required:

·         Broad development experience to include Java/J2EE and Web technologies

·         Experience with HTML and AJAX

·         Experience with Adobe web development tools

·         Experience with CSS and Javascript

·         Experience with Jquery

·         Experience with XML and XMLBeans

·         Experience with IBM Websphere Application server, Websphere MQ

·         Extensive knowledge of Web Development including JSP, JSTL, Servlets, Session Management

·         Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve software design issues and create new software for one or more products

·         Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members

·         Good communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnel

·         Ability to synthesize broad and narrow concepts of high complexity and use them to meet company objectives

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science

·         Six or more years of experience in software engineering or operating systems programming

·         Experience working with software design principles
