WWT (All living and housing expenses paid by FDC with weekend travel home optional) Location: Omaha, NE Position: Unix System Administrator     Client will cover expenses: When you say client will cover Living and Housing Expenses. What does that mean? Do you they have housing they put you up in? Do they cover meals? What can we tell potential candidates? Client will pay all travel and living expenses (hotel plus per diem each day) they will also pay for travel to anyone needing to go home on the weekends if needed on a case by case basis up to once or twice a month. This position will be focused on… RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior technical representative with broad background and experience in server/system administration.  Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions. Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Responsible for engaging in technical initiatives then assessing, completing, and if necessary assigning resources and/or delegating tasks to meet project deliverables. Performs additional job duties as required. Leads complex projects and issues within functional technical area and cross functional area. Works independently with IT functional units and business units. Recommends strategies for technical aspects of projects as well as enterprise system improvements.  Can handling consulting and engaging on multiple initiatives with team members and various technical representatives from multiple disciplines to accomplish tasks.   QUALIFICATIONS: Very strong knowledge of Unix and Linux server hardware and operating systems. Experience utilizing technical knowledge to participate in technical solutions and production troubleshooting. Must have good written and verbal communication skills in the English language. Understanding of business issues facing company and clients.5+ years related IT experience. Associates/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.  Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation providing 24 x 7 production support. Strong team player. Self-motivator and ability to work independently .Networking and Storage technology familiarity. Experience with UpTime IT Systems Management software desired. PowerShell or other scripting experience is desired.
