Position: Cognos BI Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ months

 

The Cognos BI Developer Senior/ is expected to have experience working with OLAP/Reporting/Query tools with multiple RDBMS environments on multiple platforms.

Persons in this role will support BI (OLAP/Reporting/Query) processes and tools.

Specifically, the person in this role must be able/have experience in supporting the following:

 

1.Cognos version 10.1 and 10.2 – all studios.

2.Dimensional Modeling.

3.Data Warehousing.

4.Business Intelligence (BI) practices.

5.Developing Framework Manager Models.

6.Working with Cognos Transformer and Cube technology.

7.Installation, configuration, and administration of tools.

8.Management and maintenance of tools' software releases.

9.Metadata development.

10.Report development.

11.Supervising, guiding and mentoring junior team members.

12.Creating and maintaining data delivery standards to ensure consistent information delivery methods across projects.

13.Project management support.

14.SDLC processes.

15.Writing SQL.

16.Unit Testing.
