Description of the Ideal Candidate
· Ideal candidate would be someone who is strong in technical development however that has the ability to lead and mentor others. This would be a principle position and the highest technical skills positions within the IT organization. They are expected to be very experienced in ERP technologies.
· Reporting to the Manager of Application Development this position develops software solutions for the JDEdwards ERP, JDA Planning Software Systems The JDE/JDA system provides all of the functionality that encompasses the planning and accounting process for Amway..
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to . . .
• Design and develop applications programs in a major ERP application.
• Develop test scripts for unit testing
The accomplished individual will possess . . .
• At least 7+ years of application development experience in a major ERP platform.(JD Edwards, Oracle E-business, or SAP required)
• Proficient knowledge in Supply Chain & Finance modules
• Prior experience in a technical lead position
• Experience architecting complex enterprise solutions
and demonstrated experience developing quality solutions that meet business and customer needs
• Interacting with business analysts validating requirements, test scenarios as well as test results
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work and contribute effectively as a member in a dynamic team structure
An outstanding professional will have:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline is required
• The ability to influence and demonstrate 'speed to market' delivery improvements for our organization
