Need        :  Jr.QA Consultant
Location :  Columbus, OH
Duration  :  3+ Months
Rate Max :  35/hr corp to corp

 

Local Candidates only

 

Required:
5+ years' experience with Software Testing and an Understanding of STLC Disciplines
5+ years' experience with testing through the data layer using inspection and reconciliation scripts SQL Server 2008 or 2012
5+ years of test management, automation and performance tools (Team foundation server preferred… Quality center, load runner, silk performer accepted)
 Desired:

 

Certified Test Professional
Collections and Recoveries Domain Expertise in a large organization
Experience with large enterprise class Collections Applications (CR Software's Titanium ORE preferred but others considered eg CUBS)
Experience in applying various Test Techniques to ensure max test coverage

 

 
Role and Responsibilities
The Test Analyst will be trained on the tools and domain knowledge needed to contribute in high profile projects and be involved in the whole STLC.. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare a detailed test strategy to support an iterative approach to software development and deployment
Assist with the writing of detailed test plans and scripts
Have responsibilities in the process of traceability of requirements from the repository through to functional tests and defect lists
Understand the testing effort by analyzing the details requirements of the project.
Prepare Test Cases, Check / Review the Test Cases documents.
Test execution and daily status reporting
Communicate and Track any testing risks/issues
Estimate the test effort by applying appropriate estimation techniques

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in COMPUTER AND INFORMATION SCIENCE or similar
Certification in Testing (optional)
