Looking for Data Modeler

Data Modeler 6-12 month contract Watertown, MA $50/hr corp to corp target rate Client will hire after 2 phone screens  please share the Resume at vijay@techmatrixinc.om   looking to hire a contracted resource to work as a senior data modeller and data analyst. The ideal candidate will work with technical and non-technical associates to understand business requirements and perform data analysis and profiling. The Data Modeler will then be responsible for modeling and maintaining an ER Model (logical and physical) and providing knowledge and direction to a team of database and ETL developers and analysts. The candidate should be an experienced modeler with strong understanding of the concepts of data warehousing. Additionally the candidate should have demonstrated excellence in driving efforts across the organization. Additional skills in Database Administration and Database development (Oracle) are a plus. Qualifications: 1. Education This position requires an undergraduate degree or work equivalent. MUST HAVE: - Heavy PL/SQL Development - Minimum of 8 years of data modelling, database development expertise. - 5-7 years as a Data Modeler. - Data modeling (relational, dimensional, and hierarchical) including generation of ER Models with tools such as Power Designer or ERWin - Defining and/or maintaining database standards - Physical Data modeling including sizing, Views, Triggers, Tuning, Indexing strategies, Partitioning, etc. - Oracle 9, 10g, 11g NICE TO HAVE: - Experience in a matrix environment is a plus. - Various CDC Methodologies - BI Reporting in Cognos or other similar reporting tools - Familiar with UNIX/LINUX Operating systems and Scripting
