OBIEE Consultant

6 months

Chicago, IL

 

•          Minimum of 3+ years prior OBIEE Reporting experience.

•          Deep knowledge of RPD is an absolute necessity — complete understanding of Logical Table Sources (LTS), logical and physical mappings, modeling in all three RPD layers, ability to navigate and understand OBIEE SQL output logs.

•          Must possess fantastic troubleshooting skills and ability to systematically break down problems to resolve issues and reach solutions. And then be able to document those findings.

•          Ability to perform requirements gathering from internal users/stakeholders, design and development of OBIEE reports and dashboards. BI Publisher data modeling and reporting experience is advantageous.

•          Solid understanding of the OBIEE 11g architecture — Weblogic Console, Fusion Middleware Control (Enterprise Manager), system folder structure navigation, configuration files.

•          Very strong SQL and database query skills a must.

•          Must be accountable to drive deliverables towards completion.

•          ETL experience is a plus, but not required.

•          DW, star-schema based design and creation is very advantageous.

•          Oracle database platform experience.
