Location:       Atlanta GA-- GPC Headquarters 3100 Windy Hill Road SE Atlanta GA 30339
Position:         Sr. Cognos Developer
Start:              Immediately
Length:          4 + months (at least – likely extensions)
 

Minimum Technical Qualifications:

• proficient with power play transformer model design and power play cube building 
• experience developing dmr models & iqds in framework manager 
• must be comfortable with the following bi capabilities: reporting, analysis, score carding, dashboards and business event management 
• extensive experience with cognos 10 frameworks

Tasks and skills:
• Hands on development and implementation of large information systems with a focus on complex business units including Retail Store Operations, Product Distribution and Supply Chain, and Financials 
• Design and develop complex report - Complex Drill-Through, Cascading Prompts, Summary Reports, Burst Reports 
• The idea candidate will have an understanding of various business units, their analytical needs, and how to translate those needs to tangible BI solutions

Optional skills and tasks (nice to have):
• Experience with Dynamic Cubes

Education Requirements:
• BS or BA degree in a related field required unless there is significant and relevant work experience.
