Title : Performance Tester
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6 Months
The Task:
Performance testing and test automation of cloud based software solutions and utilities under the leadership of the Sr. Software Engineer or the Team Lead and working closely with rest of the team.
Tasks
- Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and
technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration
needs.
- Looking for an engineer with extensive experience in system design, technologies and application development, and expertise in database operations. The Engineer would be responsible for developing new tools, scaling of the tools under our development platform, identifying/implementing new technologies interfacing with internal and external teams to drive requirements and promote adoption of existing tools.
- Works with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit
specification and technical requirements.
- Displays expertise in knowledge of engineering methodologies,
concepts, and skills and their application in the area of specified
engineering specialty.
- Displays expertise in Test case design and redesign skills. Presents and
defends architectural, design, and technical choices to internal
audiences.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- Engineering, Computer Science
- Generally requires 6-9 years related experience
Additional Requirements
Qualifications:
* 9+ years of Software Development experience
* 6+ years of performance testing on cloud
* Strong skills of Javascript , Python
* Hands-on experience with performance testing
* Good problem solving and analytic skills in resolving the technical challenges of the project
