Job Title: Sr. C++ Consultant

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: Long Term

Minimum 10 years overall experience.

Key SKILLS to focus on: Architecting and developing Ultra Low Latency Trading Platforms at a High-frequency trading (HFT) firm, Investment Bank, or Trading Venue; Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) Interdealer Brokers and Exchanges.

Technical Skills:

C++ Development on Linux

Good Knowledge of Linux internals

Architecting and developing Ultra Low Latency Trading Platforms at a High-frequency trading (HFT) firm, Investment Bank, or Trading Venue; Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) Interdealer Brokers and Exchanges.

Experience with market data and order entry protocols (FIX/FAST, ITCH, and OUCH).

Building exchange order entry gateways and feed handlers.

Fixed Income Analytics knowledge with understanding of risk and pricing models and objected oriented application development (e.g. C++, Java).

Prefer a Master's degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience as Application Developer, Software Engineer, or related role.
