6+ Months Contract-to-Hire position: Front-end QA Automation Engineer

T‌his is a direct-client opening for a Front-end QA Automation Engineer located in Los Angeles, CA. This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire position

The client will accept H1-B as long as they are willing/able to transfer their visa over. Also, candidates who are not local are welcome to apply since they will do video/Skype interviews in lieu of an onsite interview. 

 

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer contractor who will be responsible for implementing software testing automation. The ideal candidate will have a background in building automated testing solutions for e-commerce platforms. The candidate would also have a proven track record working with strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization.

Qualifications

4+ years experience in an Automation Quality Engineer role
Can architect frontend end-to-end (e2e) automation test framework using Webdriver.io or Protractor - tools that use Javascript/Node.js
Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) system
Good understanding of build systems like CircleCI, Codeship, Travis CI
Can coach and mentor developers in testing best practices and provide code reviews
Experience with agile test tools and methodologies and defect tracking systems (i.e. JIRA)
Experience working version control tracking systems such as Github
Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Passion for testing!
