Description:

• The Packaging Systems Manufacturing (MFG) Solution Delivery Application Development Analyst I (ADA I) will assist with the design, development and delivery of MFG Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technology solutions for the Packaging business. 
• They will also assist with technical analysis, daily monitoring, and assist with reporting and decision support on an as needed basis. 
• This position will interact with end users, BIMs, PIMs, ITSS and enterprise wide technical resources to assist with the creation of technical designs from business requirements. 
• The ADA I will help build and test code to meet the business needs.
• The ADA I needs a high degree of technical knowledge and should be capable of deploying ERP tools and modules in a complex environment. 
• The ADA I must be versed in the "language" of the business and understand how information flows through business processes, its inter-relationships, and how it should be organized and stored for effective user consumption. 
• The ADA I must have experience and knowledge of ERP application architecture and supporting technologies as well as the ability to work among a team of developers taking tasks to successful completion.
• Under limited supervision, is responsible for aiding in technical product recommendations and roadmap implementations for the Packaging environment and IP information architecture enabled by MFG ERP and associated technology.  Must have (and maintain) expertise in current and future Packaging technology-based tools and products.  Interact with Solution Architect on product road mapping.
• Begins to ensure discretionary and upgrade projects are implemented for optimal MFG ERP technology performance and reliability as planned.  Provides expertise to enterprise efforts that impact MFG ERP technology, such as Archiving, Secure Coding practices, Business Continuity, etc.  Maintain awareness of best practices employed by other companies using similar MFG ERP technologies and modules.
• Under limited supervision, interacts with business partners, consultants, developers and end users to review, interpret business and functional requirements as directed.
• Assists with the development of technical specifications, work estimates and project schedules to meet defined business requirements.
• Begins to participate in the overall process improvement of the technical area.  Analyze complex user information flows and needs to assist in evaluating alternative technical solutions that meet needs while maintaining business standards. Participates in the technical process design and documentation related to technology enhancements.
• Performs tasks as needed to achieve on-target development, testing, go-live and sustain activities per published plans.  Also participates in activities of other ITSS groups, such as Unix Services, IRM, Connectivity, BI, etc. as directed.
• Developing into a MFG ERP technical knowledge expert within the company and a source of information for others.
