Role: Senior SQL Developer

Job description:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develops relationships with the business to better understand business requirements.
Analyzes and classifies complex change request and identifies and documents possible enhancements.
Participates in developing application scope and objectives and preparing functional and/or technical specifications.
Develop reports and extracts using MS SQL, BI tools and Informatica by writing complex T-SQL and PLSQL queries
Deploy reports and extracts using SSIS, SSRS, and Informatica technologies
Optimize reports by analyzing and standardizing code
Conduct performance tuning of queries in order to improve execution time
Generate ad-hoc reports to support emergency and urgent business needs
Work closely with the department's systems analysts to ensure requirements are implemented in an automated fashion for reports and ETL components
Work closely with the database administrators to move code from development to QA and production environments
Develops and performs system testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results.
Participates in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project efforts.
Skills:
Experience programming in MS SQL is mandatory.
Experience with full life cycle development is required.
Experience working with SSRS, SSIS is mandatory.
Experience is Agile methodologies is required
Experience with Informatica is an asset.
Experience with .Net is an asset.
