Job Description:

3 or more years of experience in Hyperion Planning/Essbase development and
administration.

Support intake of user requests, including configure Hyperion
Planning/Essbase application objects such as business rules, calculation
scripts, outlines, web forms, security filters etc.

Understand the business processes, how the applications support the
business processes, and apply this knowledge to best solve problems.

Analyze data, documents, and workflows to determine course of action to
address common business issues.

Research system capabilities and look for ways to improve use and
efficiency.

Work with key stakeholders and end users to effectively determine needs,
define business requirements and expand functionality and usage of Hyperion
Essbase/Planning.

Support and/or lead system projects and enhancement requests, including
gathering of requirements and best practices, blueprint, design and
configuration, implementation, testing, training, and post-implementation
support.

Process Journal entries as per business needs.

Should be very proactive to inform business in case of any load errors from
overnight process.

Maintenance of the Hyperion Planning applications including metadata
(dimension) maintenance (EPMA), Data Forms, Calc Manager and hands-on
Essbase experience creating and modifying Calc Scripts, Report Scripts,
MaxL and Load Rules.

Shared Services Security Administration.

Handling Essbase outline mappings updates.

Maintaining documentation on key systems and processes.

Lead on Planning and Essbase related system maintenance activity.

Execute other daily operational tasks to support the cubes and production
processes.

Triage technical production server issues and work with IT when necessary
to resolve issues.

Experience in OBIEE report building and RPD deployments preferred.

Experience in SQL Server, SSIS preferred
